Background

The history of KOKKINOS S.A. starts in 1992 with the foundation of the company by the civil engineers Georgios Kokkinos and Konstantinos Kokkinos, based in Grevena.

Utilizing its significant know-how, experienced scientific and technical staff, the company has been undertaking the construction of public and private projects throughout Greece for 33 years with responsibility and consistency. Its continuous development over the years has led it to its current form, where it holds a 5th class MEEP degree in the categories of Road, Building, Hydraulic and Electromechanical projects, a 3rd class MEEP degree in the category of Water & Liquid, Solid & Gas Treatment and a 2nd class MEEP degree in the category of Industrial – Energy Projects. Since its establishment, KOKKINOS S.A. has been experiencing continuous growth, so that today it is considered one of the largest construction companies in Western Macedonia.

1992 : Establishment of the Technical & KOKKINOS S.A.

1996 : KOKKINOS S.A. starts the operation of an aggregate quarry in the area of Poros, Grevena

2000: KOKKINOS S.A. expands its activities with the opening of an Asphalt Mix Production Complex in the area of Poros, Grevena

2001 : KOKKINOS S.A. expands its activities with the opening of a Concrete Production Complex in the area of Poros, Grevena

– Acquisition of TECHNICO S.A.

– Obtaining a 5th Class Contractor’s Diploma

2007: KOKKINOS S.A. enters the sector of Renewable Energy Sources with the establishment of KOKKINOS S.A.

2017: partnership between KOKKINOS S.A. and PINDOS ENERGY S.A. for the establishment of KOKKINOS PINDOS S.A.

– Conversion of KOKKINOS PINDOS O.E. into a Public Limited Company and the commencement of operation of the EWS in the area of Krania, Grevena & the EWS in the area of Mikrolivados, Grevena

– Opening of the new Asphalt Mix Production Complex in the area of Lygeri-Kozani

2025: KOKKINOS SA enters the recycling sector by preparing 2 new LCW Recycling Units
